Velariana Frostcrown - Elven 'Princess'

The Character

A mystery to her passing admirer (a scrawny bugbear with no social skills). All that he 'knows' about her is that she's perfect in every way. He fell head over heels for her in his search for a place to belong, and by being in the wrong place at the wrong time she had become the focus of his transfixion.

Firstly, Valeriana Frostcrown isn't even her real name. This pseudonym is a representation of everything wrong with her admirer's obsession. The name comes from the crown of white valarian flowers she wears as part of her brand of 'eligibility.'

She is the niece of a powerful administrator in the north of the Nornwood, and as such, has been kept as a maiden for 115 years. 10 more and she will be 'emotionally mature' according to elf custom. Her family has determined her importance is only through her marriage, and little more. She would love nothing more than to see the world, but she has become rooted in tradition, heritage and customs. Oddly, she has little love or interest in the people beyond the glades of Nornwood; only the desire to escape her box.
